Elliptical Construction

Using Too, So, Either, Neither

Modals/Auxiliaries:
Can
Could
Will

Would

May

Might

Must

Is
Am
Are
Was
Were
etc

Pay attention to this pattern
-------------------S +modal/aux+too ---- So+modal/aux+S
Opan studies, and Rian --does ----too-------so-- does ---Rian

Nb: So and too are used to make elliptical sentences for positive sentences. modals or auxiliaries which are used based on the the tenses/kinds of verb in the sentences also the subjects.

Here other examples:
(formal)
He is lazy, and i am too or so am i
He studies English, and i do too or so do i

(informal)
He is lazy, and me too
He studies English, and me too
